Covid-19 pandemic
Since March 2020 the whole world has been affected by the COVID-19 outbreak. Villa Sharm wants to inform guests what we have been doing to reduce the risk.
Whist cleaning of Villa Sharm has always been a high-level priority, the following extra cleaning has been put in place.
- We have introduced a 24hr stop gap between guests. This means that we will not take bookings back-to-back.
- All windows are opened when cleaning for natural ventilation.
- We do not use a single air-conditioning circulation system. All areas have separate individual units (Total 11) which prevents air in one room being exchanged to another room via the system.
- Double cleaning of touchable surfaces. Handles, worktops, appliances, bathrooms, are cleaned twice, once when guests leaves and again before new guest arrive.
- Swimming pool and jacuzzi are checked each day and filters are cleaned.
- Extra linen has been brought in so that we can rotate usage more frequently. Linen is cleaned with quality detergent on a longer cycle and at a higher temperature.
We are always monitoring the government guidelines to ensure that we are abreast of the ongoing situation and doing all that we can to help keep our guests safe.
CANCELATION OF YOUR BOOKING
We want you to book Villa Sharm with confidence knowing that your trip is safe-guarded. For this reason, we have introduced new measures for covid related cancellations.
We will refund 100% of booking up to 48hr. prior to your visit where bookings have been made directly with us and payment has been received as per our terms and condition. Only bookings made directly with Villa Sharm qualify. Bookings made through a third-party booking agent are not included and will be covered by their own policy of cancellation.
The following are for Covid-19 related issues only.
- If flights are cancelled.
- If you are tested positive for covid-19 within 10 days of your arrival.
- If boarders are closed that are covid-19 related.
- If the authorities in your departure country restrict travel.
- If the Egyptian authorities restrict travel.
- Bookings have been made directly with Villa Sharm and NOT via a third party booking agent.
All other cancellations outside of covid-19 related issues will be subject to our normal terms and conditions.
