Naama Bay
Located just twenty minutes from Villa Sharm, Namma Bay is the famous of the areas in Sharm El Sheikh. You will find Many local restaurants and coffee shops, bars and fast food outlets.
You will also fine a very modern shopping mall, Pasha and Little Buddha Nights clubs, the famous Camel Bar and lots of trinket shops.
There is a beech in Naama bay but mainly linked to the hotels for guests. Namma Bay is a MUST place to visit, best time is in the evening.
Old Market
Located twenty five minutes from Villa Sharm is the Old Market. In the past few years this has been greatly improved and redeveloped.
This is were locals buy and eat and a great experience into the culture of the Egyptian life. There are many shops and coffle shops. Best to to visit is in the evening.
There are lots of local restaurants that serve traditional Egyptian food at Egyptian prices. Like Namma bay, there is an element of being hassled every time you walk past a shop.
Al Mercato
Located 25 minutes from Villa Sharm and close to Old Market. You will find The ell Mercato shopping area that has many European names and restaurants.
Nabq
Located 15 minutes from Villa Sharm Nabq is mainly fully inclusive hotels.
There is also a small mall called La Strada where there are coffee shops and restaurants.
You will also find in NABQ Hard Rock Caffe, Supper Markets, Bag Shops, Liquor store and more.
Ras Mohamed
Located 50 minutes from Villa Sharm, Ras Mohamed is Sharm El Sheikh’s national park. The beach is wonderful and the sea has shallow banks located in a bay. Great for snorkelling and a day away from life. If you visit, don’t forget to take a picnic.
The beaches are deserted, pure tranquillity.
Sharks Bay
Sharks Bay is a tourist beach Located 5 minutes from Villa Sharm. You can find shops, restaurants, rent a canoe and other water sports.
It’s a nice place to spend the day soaking up the sun as an alternative to the local beach.
Nightlife
If its dancing until sun rise, Sharm El Sheikh has plenty of night clubs to keep your occupied.
Most are in Namma Bay where you have Pacha, Little Buddha, Hard Rock, and Space, but to name a few. If its a bit more sophistication you need then Soho Square Savoy Night Club is the place.
Most clubs in Sharm El Sheikh are open until 3 am, just in time to watch the spectacular sun rise on the roof top of Villa Sharm.
Water Parks
There are two main water parks in Sharm, one is located in Hadaba and the other is Namma Bay.
Hadaba is part of a hotel complex and Cleo Park in Namma Bay is a dedicated water park with large slides, lazy river and wave machine.
Both have basic food outlets and sun loungers.
Beaches in Sharm
There are miles of beaches in Sharm with the best being in Ras Mohamed, where its often empty and secluded, located in a bay of shallow water.
Namma bay beaches are mostly private and connected to the hotels like Hilton, although some are public.
Villa Sharm however has the beach directly in front of the villa, and unlike the other packed beaches there is plenty of room for all.
You can walk the beach line for approximately 3 km, soon to be extended even further where you will find eateries and beach bars attached to the hotels.
